About the Event
Talking about the issues that impact your community and our state can be hard. It doesn’t have to be.
UW-Madison’s La Follette School of Public Affairs, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and Sustainability Institute have partnered to bring you this interactive town hall. A panel of policy experts will help shed light on major public policy issues related to health care and climate change, and attendees will have a chance to share their thoughts on how the issues affect their community. Focusing on the idea of a community conversation, panelists and attendees will sit together in an intimate classroom setting to talk about these topics with ample time for questions and interactive discussions.

Main Street Agenda
UW-Madison’s La Follette School of Public Affairs is partnering with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel to raise awareness about issues Wisconsin residents are concerned about in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election. Each month, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and UW-Madison’s La Follette School of Public Affairs' website features analysis of different policy topics highlighted by a statewide survey. This fall, UW-Madison’s La Follette School of Public Affairs is hosting in-person community conversations around the state that will give people additional opportunities to share their views on the issues that matter to them.
