Sustainability Chats - No Mow May

The City of La Crosse Parks Department has implemented a new sustainable initiative this spring called, “No Mow May.” This program allows City residents to register their yard and be given the opportunity to not mow their lawn during the month of May.  

During our Sustainability Chat learn:

• Why reducing or not mowing in May is important.
• How you can continue to support pollinators.
• What resources the City has for the program.
• Progress on the program sign ups and results from last year.

Sustainability Chats are monthly virtual green tours celebrating and highlighting the sustainable efforts happening throughout the Driftless region.  Registration is free for our virtual events, but required.
