Join the Sustainability Institute for Sustainability Chats where we celebrate and share local sustainable development.
UWL Professor Scott Cooper will tour his passive standard home located here in La Crosse County. His home was constructed with double stud walls and dense pack cellulose insulation on an insulated concrete slab. The house is completely electric, and a 8.3 kW solar panel system makes it net zero for all heating, cooling, powering a plug-in hybrid Prius, and other electrical needs.
