Sustainability Chats - Community Conservation

For our October Sustainability Chat, we heard from Dr. Teri Allendorf from Community Conservation. During the presentation, Dr. Allendorf shared the many and amazing community collaborations spurred from their work across the globe.

Community Conservation, with a chapter based in Viroqua, WI, collaborates with local communities around the world to build their capacity to conserve biodiversity. Since 1984, Community Conservation has supported over 200 communities through 31 projects in 17 countries. They focus our efforts on rare habitats and endangered species, including primates, cranes, tigers, and turtles. Currently, we work with communities in Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Nepal, Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, and Cameroon.
